Due Diligence for business operations
It has been our experience that Investor due diligence on a business acquisition target typically tends to focus on Finance and Legal due diligence. Whilst these are critical to any potential investment appraisal, we believe there is a third critically important area often not given the attention it needs. We offer a due diligence service that focuses on business operations; the people, efficacy of day to day practices, governance, new business development, quality controls, compliance, technology, business continuity and business planning. In essence this goes under the skin of the business and helps to distinguish between reality and “future aspiration”.
We agree an operational due diligence plan and expected outcomes with our Client, covering the timing, scope and depth of analysis required. Contacts and communication channels are established with the acquisition target company. Meetings are arranged with the target company to introduce and discuss the process.
We will provide facts and data on the operational aspects of a business. We do not make recommendations on an investment or provide Finance or Legal due diligence services.
